Diotec Semiconductor AG, specialist for discrete semiconductor solutions from Germany, announces global distribution agreement with Mouser Electronics, Inc. Mouser Electronics is one of the leading global distributor of semiconductors and electronic components. They are offering a wide range of Diotec's components in stock including diodes, rectifiers, MOSFETs, regulators, transistors and protection elements like TVS and ESD diodes.

Diotec's product range on Mouser Electronics includes industry standard discrete semiconductors, suitable for a wide range of circuits in the field of industrial, energy, mobility, lighting and consumer applications. They further offer exiting new developments, helping customers to reduce costs and board space. The SM4000 for example is Diotec's new 4000V/1A rectifier diode in DO-213AB Melf package. It is ideally suited for input rectification of devices connected directly to the public mains, like Smart Electricity Meter, LED Street Lamps and 4G/5G Base Stations. All these devices are rated for a surge voltage of 6 kV. The usually inserted mains filter reduces this value to about 2 kV; actually available 2000 V rectifiers are at their edge under this load.
